Izabela Wojcik is a Polish-born chef wrangler and the Director of Fundraising Initiatives at the James Beard Foundation, the historic national non-profit culinary arts organization. Before heading up mission-driven fundraising campaign Open For Good, which provide critical resources for independent restaurants to come back more equitable, sustainable and resilient, Izabela had the pleasure of crafting delicious food programs for James Beard House in NYC. She also served as a food judge for various national and international competitions. During her 20+ years at James Beard Foundation, Izabela helps celebrate and support the people behind food culture, while pushing for new standards in the restaurant industry, and a future where all culinary creatives have the opportunity to thrive.
