Alisha Sommer

With more than 11 years as a content creator and marketer behind her, Alisha Sommer is passionate about storytelling, building communities, and driving sales through engaging and authentic communication. She currently works as the Communication Manager for Meadowood Napa Valley & The Napa Valley Reserve, a 250-acre wine-country estate, intimate country hotel and private club with a membership that shares a passion for wine and the way of life that surrounds it.

“Ultimately, I see the work of a storyteller as helping people build community and relationships, helping them find connections that inspire them to be the best versions of themselves,” she said.

Alisha, who is based in Napa Valley, was the founder and editor of the former print literary journal BLACKBERRY: a magazine, a literary magazine featuring black women writers and artists across the globe, and published words and images in Magnolia Journal, Blackberry Farm's Magazine, VinePair, Wine Enthusiast, Chicago Reader, Black Food and Beverage, Southern Foodway's "Gravy," and others.
