Amy Frank Goldman
Amy tries to lead by example, achieving success in an industry that is heavily male-dominated and sending a message to other women. “We live in a world where imposter syndrome is real, women all too often utter the words ‘I'm sorry’ and overthink things,” she says. “Slowly that is changing, but a reminder that our voices need to be heard, and that they are seen, helps encourage that change: you can do it to, you can be taken seriously for more than your looks.’”
She founded AFG Wealth Management in 2018, building upon more than 20 years in the investment management industry where she held roles at some of the most reputable firms in the financial services industry, including Fidelity Investments and Invesco Funds. The three pillars of Amy's approach to working with clients are transparency, education and risk mitigation.
“Helping people means everything to me, in every aspect of my life. Whether it is my clients, the individuals who benefit from my nonprofit work or my family,” she says. “I was drawn to this business because I knew there was a need for people like myself. My goal has never been to build a 4- person team with 500 clients, my goal has always been to help as many people as I can in a way that still provides a personal experience.”
Amy holds a Chartered Retirement Plan Counselor® designation and her Series 7, 63, 65 and 66 securities licenses. She lives with her husband, daughter and two rescue pugs in Hoboken, NJ, and is very active in various volunteer roles and community groups in the Metro area.
