Cindy Ngo is the founder of Ink + Porcelain, a destination for handcrafted, sustainable home decor and conversations with female creatives from all walks of life. She is also at the helm of Ink + Porcelain’s studio, which offers vintage sourcing and interior design in the Bay Area. Before launching her own company, Cindy was a registered nurse; she left the industry after working a particularly challenging year in the pandemic and took the brave step of setting out on her own. “I sacrificed a lot to be where I am but I don't regret it one bit,” she says. “I finally feel like myself and I created a platform to showcase the stories of female creatives who've also taken a leap to pursue their dreams, regardless of where they are in their career.”
Cindy has been featured in Oprah Daily, Bustle, and Apartment Therapy. Her advice for other women who want to shatter glass ceilings? “Take the plunge. Listen to your gut. Life is too short to live a life you don't dream of. Use your voice to inspire others and don't be afraid to ask for help or advice. You'll be surprised at how many people want to help you pursue your dreams.”
