Eliana Konkser

“For as long as I can remember, my life has revolved around finding ways to live more sustainably.”

As the CEO and co-founder of ZERO, Eliana Konsker has built a one-stop-shop eCommerce marketplace for holistically sustainable fashion brands that have been vetted in accordance with extensive environmental and ethical standards. The USC grad cut her teeth with roles at Tom Ford and Anastasia Beverly Hills before launching ZERO in 2022. Eliana is passionate about “the intersection of fashion and sustainability,” as well as helping other women achieve their goals. “If we surround ourselves with empowering women, we will have the power to support others. It’s a never ending cycle,” she says. “It is important for me to be a ‘hype woman,’ always supporting women in any way I can.”

The Hall of Femme honoree was nominated by Krishna Mandalia, who praised her for revolutionizing the fashion industry for the betterment of the climate crisis and human rights. “As a Black female, Eliana is working to diversify and expand the inclusivity of the antiquated C-suite position through her broad range of social and industry experiences,” Krishna says. So, what gets this revolutionary out of bed in the morning? “There is a Dr. Seuss quote that has always spoken to me: ‘Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not,’” Eliana says. “The idea that I can make an impact everyday — whether that’s making someone smile or getting us one step closer to ending the climate crisis — I find solace in knowing that I can make a difference.”
