Elizabeth Weil
“I’m a builder and tinkerer, and have the drive to make crazy things happen.”
Elizabeth Weil is an investor, advisor and entrepreneur who believes that passion and pushing boundaries drive success. An early Twitter executive with more than two decades in venture capital and tech, she has made over 100 angel investments including Slack, SpaceX and Figma. As founder and Managing Director of Scribble Ventures, she works closely with companies like Whatnot, Certn and DigitalBrain, and oversees hiring, fundraising construction and company culture. Elizabeth is also a mom of three, competitive ultra-marathon runner and the founder of Paperwheel, a design and letterpress company.
“I wake up wanting to build Scribble into a firm that makes me proud, build Paperwheel and my creative letterpress printing endeavors, and build community and connections that boost me and others while setting an example for my children,” says Elizabeth. The Hall of Femme honoree “absolutely loves” uplifting other women by talking about career, personal paths and weaving work, life and self into one. “I take pride in telling my story in hopes that it inspires and empowers women in even a tiny way,” Elizabeth says. “I like being able to mentor, meet, build relationships, share opportunities and help other incredible women throughout the entire ecosystem.”
