Emma Hinchliffe is Senior Writer at Fortune, where she covers women in business and gender issues across business, politics, and culture. She is also the author of the Broadsheet, Fortune’s daily newsletter for and about the world’s most powerful women. And before joining Fortune, the Hall of Femme honoree covered women in tech as a reporter for Mashable and the Houston Chronicle. “Covering the news through a gender lens is important to me,” says Emma. “Whether we are highlighting examples of successful female leadership or holding those leaders to account when they've fallen short, centering women in the news helps bring women's perspectives and experience to the mainstream.”
