Gefen Skolnick

Gefen Skolnick is the founder of Couplet Coffee and Bunch of Founders, a lead venture partner for Contrary Capital and a venture scout for Backstage Capital. As a first-generation immigrant and a lesbian who spent three years in community college before going on to get her degree from UCLA in computational linguistics, she is passionate about advocating for underestimated entrepreneurs and community college students. 

Une Femme celebrates game-changing women who have shattered glass ceilings, and gifting a crate of Champagne to each of them from us to celebrate. Each "first Friday" of every month, we'll be featuring and toasting alongside those women on our social media and website. We're awarding entrepreneurs, founders, artists, creatives, activists, elected officials, doctors, scientists, environmentalists, designers, writers, editors, athletes, household-name celebrities, hometown heroes, and beyond who represent strength, power, and positivity. These are women who have made the world (or their world) a better place.
