Marci eats, lives and wears the change she wishes to see in the world. In addition to coining the term “ECOfashion" in 1995, she is an internationally-recognized ECOlifestyle expert, educator, innovator, serial entrepreneur, and the author of ECOrenaissance: Co-Creating A Stylish, Sexy and Sustainable World. Marci is the founder and CEO of ECOfashion Corp—a “greenhouse of brands”—including B2B turnkey sustainable fashion manufacturer MetaWear, regenerative/organic cotton farm project RESET, QVC affordable sustainable lifestyle brands Farm to Home and Seed to Style, and D2C organic fashion retail brand YES AND. She has striven to drive authenticity, environmental leadership and social justice worldwide for more than three decades.

“I started a women-owned, women-run business that connects and empowers all of the women along our supply chains with a win-win-win business model---from our farmers to our workers to our customers (both B2B and D2C),” says Marci. “Additionally, we co-create with the Women's Earth Alliance, and on a personal level, I often mentor future female leaders.”

Marci, who is based in New York City, is also founder of Under the Canopy, the producer of Driving Fashion Forward: Thread, cofounder of Good Catch, BeyondBrands and The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and a board member of the Textile Exchange and Organic Center/Organic Trade Association. The recipient of countless awards, she is featured in the book ECO AMAZONS: 20 Women Who Are Transforming the World, and is a Henry Crown Fellow of The Aspen Institute.
