Marcie Jastrow

“I look forward to waking up so that I can slay dragons. Going to bed bums me out because that means I am not being productive.”

Marcie Jastrow is a futurist, plain and simple. A business development advisor and two-time Emmy winner who built her career directing traffic at the intersection of technology and content, she’s been involved with post-production on blockbuster films like Avatar, Jungle Book, and The Revenant, to name a few. For Marcie, success is about “living your best life by doing the things you want to do, without hurting people along the way.” And she means that: Marcie makes sure to mentor women in the media and entertainment space by investing her time and money.

These days, Marcie is the Chief Revenue Officer at remote collaboration company Evercast, and currently sits on the advisory board at top innovative technical firms and studios. She is also a published author and frequent speaker on the future of technology with her own podcast, 2ndlevel. The Hall of Femme honoree was nominated by Joanna Popper. “Marcie broke the glass ceiling by building out the immersive center at Technicolor, creating award-winning, groundbreaking XR content,” says Joanna. “Now, she’s breaking glass ceilings in crypto by building the Shiba Inu [an Ethereum-based alternative to Dogecoin].”

When she’s not slaying dragons, Marcie likes to sip margaritas and spend time with her three kids (her “best projects to date”).
