Sarah Kunst

Sarah is an investor and entrepreneur who has worked at Apple, Red Bull, Chanel, and Mohr Davidow Ventures. She founded the LA Dodgers-backed Proday and served as a senior advisor at Bumble, where she focused on their corporate VC arm Bumble Fund. In 2018, she founded Cleo Capital, venture capital and private equity principals that invest $500K-1M at pre-seed, where she is managing director. 

“As an investor, I get to invest in what I believe in both in a technological and ideological sense. I invest in companies that build the world I want everyone to live in,” she said. “I uplift women by investing in them. I think the most powerful way to support women is by empowering them to live life on their own terms. To me, that means helping them build business through startup investing.”

Sarah, who is based in San Francisco, has been named a Future Innovator by Vanity Fair, Forbes 30 Under 30 and a top 25 innovator in tech by Cool Hunting. She has been recognized for her work in Business Insider as a 30 under 30 Women in Tech and Top African-American in Tech & Pitchbook Top Black VC To Watch, honored as a top women in STEM by Create & Cultivate and named a Young Gun to watch by Marie Claire Magazine. She is a contributing editor for Marie Claire Magazine and has also written for Techcrunch, Forbes, Wall St. Journal, Fortune and Entrepreneur.com.
