Tylynn Burns is a Los Angeles native pushing the needle on immersive experiences for the Black community. She founded her experiential agency, House Party Creative, in 2018 in the hopes to make unique moments accessible to the LA community, Since then, she has transformed the landscape for community and brand activations and made a name for herself amongst different industries. Last year, she became the leading talent on Issa Rae's docuseries, Sweet Life: Los Angeles, which premiered on HBO Max in August 2021. Tylynn is currently a lead recruiter at the well-renowned advertising agency, Wieden+Kennedy, bridging the gap between non-traditional talent and the creative industry.
“What I love the most about my work is being able to be the conductor of my workflow, my workstreams, and my impact,” says Tylynn. “It took me a few years to finally have control over the kind of things that I like to do and how I'm going to do it. Once I landed in places that invested in the value of Tylynn vs. the need for the role, I was graced with that autonomy. Cheers to the careerial gworls!"
Outside of work, Tylynn loves creating memories with her loved ones, traveling the world, and spending an unhealthy amount of money on good food. She enjoys having a few glasses of cabernet before bed, anime during work hours, and buying books she never reads.
