Awarded a Double Gold medal at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, this fresh, elegant, dry sparkling white wine is perfect for toasting to your new job, your best friend's wedding, or Wednesday night's "book club" (a.k.a. wine club).
Made with 100% classic champagne grape varietals, its aroma delivers notes of honeysuckle, orange blossom and Meyer lemon peel. In the glass you'll find beautiful acidity, flavors of crisp Asian pear and white peach, and a soft and delicate finish. This versatile sparkler is delightful sipped on its own but also pairs beautifully with brunch favorites like eggs benedict, a vegetable frittata, or chicken with waffles.

TASTING NOTES

I was introduced to The Betty on a Delta flight from Austin to Boston in August. My 75-year-old mother hadn't flown since the pandemic and the flight attendant was incredibly sweet to her. As we prepared to land, the flight attendant gave us a sweet care package that included two small Betty bottles that we enjoyed in our hotel room after settling in.
I was so smitten with the taste, the quality, and the story of the women-owned brand that I ordered a case for Christmas. There's only one bottle left and I'm hoarding it for myself for New Year's Eve. My husband has late-stage cancer and we won't be hosting our annual Champagne & Fondue party as he's too sick to celebrate. Simple things like a lovely wine can make this impossibly difficult situation less biting.
My passion is writing, but as a woman who worked in tech sales for years, I admire a company that puts female empowerment at the forefront of its brand. When my husband passes, I'm going to spend a year traveling to figure out what life will look like without my favorite person.
